The Hope Fund is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to supporting at-risk children in Wimauma. Every donation and fund raised goes directly to the children, there are no administrative costs involved. Many of our volunteers live in the Sun City Center, Wimauma, and Ruskin areas of Florida. They generously donate their time and skills to Wimauma's children, especially those who need help with skill development or simply a caring friendship. The Hope Fund is looking for new members programs. If you’re interested in volunteering for an existing program or sharing a special talent, we would be delighted to have your experience.

What Is the Role of a Volunteer?
A volunteer dedicates one hour each week, from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm, at the RCMA Wimauma Community Academy. Our volunteers share their professional skills with the children, so you don't need to have a teaching background to make a difference. The only requirement is a passion for working with kids.
Our program is structured as follows: Mondays are dedicated to the Kids Marathon, where volunteers encourage children to run twice around the soccer field. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you'll assist your child with homework and focus on enhancing their reading, math, and comprehension skills in areas where they need extra support. Fridays are reserved for teaching and playing chess with your child.
